Anton Karstel

Anton Karstel was born in Pretoria and currently lives in Cape Town. He obtained his Masters of Fine Arts in 1995 at the University of Pretoria, after completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1990. He has exhibited locally and abroad since 1992. He was included in the exhibition Graft (Second Johannesburg Biennale) in 1997, and had a mid-career retrospective exhibition at the Pretoria Art Museum in 2018.
